It is all about Doll Play...

With spring in the air and
summer soon to follow
girls across the land will
have a little
more time to play
and make things for their
 beloved childhood friend…
Here are a  few things for
your 18" doll like the American Girl doll...

This pretty patio table would be a fun activity for
a rainy summer’s day. I can just imagine the

hours of play.

Martha Stewart's paper pom poms
made in napkin ring size would
 make wonderful decorations

Cute kitty pin for you to make
 by Salley Mavor
tutorial here …..
This kitty pin could
 also become
 a doll’s purse:
cut two back pieces,
skip step two of tutorial,
do all of the other steps,
sew the second felt back piece to the back
of the felt kitty around the outside edge
leaving an opening on the top.
Add a cord or ribbon for a handle.

This post is dedicated to my
 Granddaughter Emmalyn
who I hope will remember
that Grand-me likes to play….
and that you are never too old
for dolls.....
